At High Horse Cannabis Co. WEED like to encourage all eligible people to vote in their elections!
Cannabis laws are changing and evolving. We need active voters communicating with our elected leaders about changing the narrative around cannabis use. We also need to support those leaders who hear us and welcome cannabis users.
"In NM elections are more like a season than a day," Scott Krahling, High Horse Cannabis Company's Director of Public Engagement said. "We have a lot of opportunities to make sure our voices are counted at the polls."
Early voting begins 28 days before Election Day. For this election, that day is October 11, 2022. On this day voters can begin voting at their County Clerk's office during regular office hours.
Alternate locations begin to open up for early voting on October 22, 2022. This is when locations will open up in rural areas of New Mexico.
And Election Day this year is on November 8, 2022. Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
Throughout this time you can also request an Absentee Ballot so that you can vote from the comfort of your home. You can mail your ballot in or use one of the several drop boxes around the county.
