Last Friday night High Horse Cannabis Company announced their Las Cruces drive-through dispensary, located at 580 South Valley, was open, and that it is the first in New Mexico to offer cannabis sales 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
The decision is possible because the City of Las Cruces, New Mexico decided not to restrict the hours a dispensary can operate.
Dispensary owner, Ruben Aguilar, said people need better access to cannabis because it is an important medicine.
“As someone who managed New Mexico medical dispensaries for a long time, I’ve seen the need first hand,” Aguilar said. “Cannabis is an important medicine for a lot of people and they don’t always get to choose when they need it.”
Aguilar says that High Horse Cannabis Company’s mission includes destigmatizing cannabis and cannabis users.
“Cannabis companies can and should play an active role in promoting the positive and healthy lifestyle of responsible consumers, and educating the community with regards to the benefits of cannabis and how to legally obtain it,” Aguilar said.
To celebrate the opening of the first 24-hour drive-through cannabis dispensary, High Horse is offering free prerolls for a year to 42 people!
Here's how it works: The first 420 transactions will all be entered into a raffle. 42 people will be selected to win! To collect, winners are able to add a free preroll to any purchase made at the Valley drive-through, once a day for the next year.
