Cannabis industry business owners and others gathered earlier in August to discuss how the Southwest Cannabis Trade Association can help businesses by engaging with local jurisdictions and state policymakers.
The meeting, hosted at Picacho Peak Brewery, had just over 100 attendees sign in for the two-hour discussion. Leading the discussion were Nicole Fuchs representing the Southwest Cannabis Trade Association and Ben Lewinger representing the New Mexico Cannabis Chamber of Commerce. Issues related to water, county inspections, and state laws were discussed.
All input was collected and the meeting was recorded. The trade association is currently outlining its next steps.
